And on to the next.
According to WORLD OF REEL (an outlet I like, trust, and respect because they don’t churn out clickbait bullshit), Daniel Craig has passed on playing Christopher Dent in THE BATMAN PART II.
Bummer.
Liam Neeson, you’re on deck?
Clearly, they want a top-notch actor for the role who also has some skins on the wall. I get and agree with that line of thinking. Liam Neeson checks both boxes, and I have no issue with the fact that he’s already played a villain in a Batman film/trilogy (Ra’s al Ghul in Chris Nolan’s BATMAN BEGINS/THE DARK KNIGHT TRILOGY), but I have zero issues with it. That’s fanboy nonsense that the general audience couldn’t care less about.
As I said previously, I never heard Craig’s name mentioned, but I did with Liam Neeson.
So, we shall see who ends up nabbing the part, and that will happen soon as filming commences on May 29th of this year.
My prediction is that it’ll be someone who hasn’t been mentioned yet. Unless he has. – Bill “Jett” Ramey
