On Friday, October 4 at 8pm in Room 1A10 of the Javitz Center for New York Comic Con 2019, join me as I celebrate the 30th anniversary of BATMAN ’89 that revolutionized Hollywood and opened the door for JOKER, which will change the very definition of what a comic book movie can be and the world’s perception of supervillains and superheroes!

You’ll see the first trailer for our 1989 BATMAN film which single-handedly convinced fandom this would be a dark and serious version of The Dark Knight!

A lively Q&A to follow!  AND

Meet me at New York Comic Con Sunday, October 6th at 1:30pm-2:30pm at Table 2 in the Autograph/Signing area of the Javitz Center where I will be signing copies of the brand new paperback edition of my memoir, THE BOY WHO LOVED BATMAN, detailing how I, as a kid in my 20s, bought the rights to Batman from DC Comics and the ten year odyssey it took to bring a dark and serious Batman to the silver screen.

From 1989’s BATMAN to 2019’s JOKER, the story unfolds! – Michael Uslan
