I’m very careful here at BOF of the outlets I will source. Usually, it’s a trade or someone I know and trust. In this case, the following bit of THE BATMAN PART II casting info comes from neither. But the reason I am posting this on BOF is that part of this alleged scoop is something I reliably heard a few weeks ago, so there may be some truth here. So, where we go…
According to GIANTFREAKINROBOT.COM, Daniel Craig has been offered the part of Christopher Dent in THE BATMAN PART II. They also say that if Craig passes, Liam Neeson is next in line to be offered the part.
I have heard nothing about Daniel Craig being in the mix for this role, so I cannot speak to that. However, I did hear whispers about Liam Neeson a few weeks ago; check out this Tweet of mine from February 15th…

Not only did I hear about Neeson from a reliable source, but I asked some folks, and they heard the same thing.
So there you go. Take that for what you will.
I believe both would be great as Christopher Dent — who will be one of the film’s villains (and asshole father of Harvey Dent) — so I am good with either. And no, it does not and will not bother me that Neeson played Ra’s Al Ghul in THE DARK KNIGHT TRILOGY.
Stay tuned, fun times ahead! – Bill “Jett” Ramey
