As long as BOF is still around (and the time it will not is much sooner than later) I’ll cover mostly everything “Batman on film.” Well, CLAYFACE is certainly “Batman adjacent” (just like the two JOKER films) and it has a new poster. So, BOF is still around, so here it is:

Matt Hagen’s meteoric rise from Gotham street kid to Hollywood leading man is tragically cut short when a local crime boss’s actions leave him horribly disfigured. Abandoned by his team and with nothing left, Matt seeks out a cutting-edge treatment that miraculously returns him to his former self… but also unexpectedly affects his grip on reality, spiraling him down a destructive path of all-consuming revenge.
Look, I’ve never been much a fan when it comes to any supernatural or fantastical Batman characters and villains. I also don’t think that I’m a fan of “Body Horror” films for the most part, but this movie has me intrigued. Props to Warners and DC Studios for doing something different in the comic book genre. And lest we forget, Matt Reeves is producing even though CLAYFACE is DCU and not part of Reeves’ THE BATMAN EPIC CRIME SAGA.
