If you haven’t noticed here on BOF, other than reviewing the films, we are not covering non-Batman DC movies extensively any longer. Why? Well, there are a lot of reasons, but mainly I decided that the focus of Batman On Film should be mostly on, well, BATMAN. We’ll still review live-action and animated DC movies (and other non-Batman/superhero movies), but like I said, covering Batman will be BOF’s #1 focus by far. SO…
I post this because the character of Batman is very important in THE FLASH — like, Michael Keaton’s Batman is essentially the film’s second lead and even Ben Affleck’s Batman appears in a cameo.
THE FLASH‘s release date has moved up a week from June 23, 2023 to June 16, 2023. (Batman on film historical note: BATMAN FOREVER hit theaters on June 16, 1995.)
We’re still debating here at BOF whether or not to have one of our BOF Watch Parties for THE FLASH. If we pull the trigger, details will be posted here on BOF before the end of the year (2022). – Bill “Jett” Ramey
