Meet The Batfleck...If You've Got The Money

UPDATE (4/3/18): According to the Fan Expo Dallas official Twitter feed, the “Ben Affleck Live” portion of his appearance at the con has been canceled.

Frankly, this is a good move by Affleck.  All he’d get asked is whether or not he’s going to continue playing Batman.  It would a be a no-win situation.  There’s no way he can say he’s not playing Batman, so if he’s done (as it so seems), then he’ll get painted as a liar.  If he said he’s done, then he’d likely get booed off the stage.

Ben, smile for the pictures, sign the autographs, take your check and go home.

The original report is found below.

DISCLOSURE: BOF has press credentials for Fan Expo Dallas and will have a representative attending to cover the con.  BOF does not have any special access to Ben Affleck or “Ben Affleck Live.” – “Jett”

I got the following press release from the fine folks at Fan Expo Dallas — which is taking place this coming weekend (April 6-8, 2018) in, um, Dallas.

If you are attending this event and are a big fan of Ben Affleck, well, Saturday 4/7/18 is your lucky day…if you’ve the coin, of course.  Oh yeah, I “can’t wait” to hear what Affleck says during this event about his future as Batman on film.

Ben’s gonna say what he HAS to say.  ANYWAY…

BOF will be at FED, though I can not make it this year myself due to a family event/conflict.  It’s a great con y’all, go if you can!  The details and cost of the “Ben Affleck Live” event can be found after the image below…

Bill "Jett" Ramey
Bill “Jett” Ramey isn’t just a Batman fan — he’s one of the founding fathers of the online Batman community. As the creator and Editor-in-Chief of Batman-On-Film.com, the original and longest-running Batman news and commentary site, Jett helped carve the very bedrock of modern fan internet press. If there is a Mount Rushmore of this stuff, his face is already up there — sunglasses on, arms crossed, probably telling someone to calm down. A lifelong Dark Knight disciple, Jett has spent decades championing filmmaker‑driven Batman stories, cutting through fanboy noise with a Texas‑sized dose of honesty, and keeping the conversation smart, civil, and drama‑free. He’s the BOF Godfather — the guy who was here before the hashtags, before the clickbait, before the algorithms… and he’s still here, still talking Batman, still calling it straight. When he steps out of Gotham, Jett is pure Texas. He bleeds Dallas Cowboys blue, blasts Elvis and rock ’n’ roll, and has a deep appreciation for cold beer, dive bars, and Texas Longhorns football. He works out, he cooks, and he can grill like a man who’s earned the right to say “don’t assume” when he tells you he lives in the great state of Texas. He shares that home with his wife — “Announcer Rachel” — and their dogs: Gracelin the Labradoodle and Presley, a rescue pup named after the King himself.
