For a while now, Mark Strong has been listed as part of the cast of THE PENGUIN. Furthermore, it was said he was playing Carmine Falcone. That seemed odd because Strong is basically the same age as John Turturro who portrayed the mafia kingpin in THE BATMAN. But now his role has been revealed via the series’ official social media and Mark Strong is confirmed to be playing…Carmine Falcone.
What?! Check it out below…

Strong looks much younger than John Turturro (via movie magic), so he’ll likely appear as Carmine Falcone in flashbacks I’m assuming. I’m also going to guess that Turturro was unavailable to reprise the role for THE PENGUIN, so Strong stepped in.
We’ll see soon enough how Strong’s Carmine Falcone is used in the series as THE PENGUIN debuts on Thursday, September 19, 2024! – Bill “Jett” Ramey
