And I am all for it!
THE BATMAN PART II co-writer Mattson Tomlin took to Twitter and dropped this little gem of info about the upcoming film…
We worked exceptionally hard to tell a story worthy of the character. Something that feels new and dangerous. The bar couldn’t be higher. Looking forward to people seeing it and being able to talk about it at length. Can’t begin to describe what this film means to me.
Solo #Batman on film is special. An event. I’m very happy that the character is revered and treated as such by those behind #TheBatmanEpicCrimeSaga. @mattsontomlin @mattreevesLA https://t.co/eUjeVKwAam

Hell yes!
Of course they are doing something “new and dangerous!” Matt Reeves and Tomlin are too good to deliver something “old and safe.” I don’t care how long it took them to write the screenplay (the delays were for legit reasons, so calm the F down), because if they’ve crafted a Batman on film classic, it’ll certainly be worth it.
There’s no doubt in my mind that they are going to knock it out of the park. Enjoy the ride…or not. Your choice.
Oh yeah…
They are NOT remaking THE DARK KNIGHT, OK? Any articles online that suggest that are clickbait bullshit. – Bill “Jett” Ramey
