DC Studio’s Peter Safran was asked by IGN (Shoutout to my fellow OG pal “Stax”!) if there is any scenario where THE BATMAN PART II doesn’t start filming again? His answer: “No.”
Look, as IGN framed the question, it’s a delicate situation and it would’ve been inappropriate for them to ask about the status of Matt Reeves and if another director could step in to finish the film. The bottom line here is that THE BATMAN PART II will start filming again (2nd unit working seemingly has continued) and the movie will be completed. Period. I can’t tell you when that’s going to happen, but I 100% believe that Matt Reeves will be the dude behind the camera to finish filming and the man in charge of post-production.

THE BATMAN PART II, everybody’s aware of the issues we’re having right now, but what we’ve seen so far of the shoot, it looked absolutely fantastic and Matt Reeves is a supremely talented filmmaker.
