UPDATE: I reached out to “someone in the know” and was told that the title logo on the clapper board is probably not how the film’s official title logo will look. Here’s this person told me…
Typically, a production logo is put together and used on equipment, vehicles, signs, etc. The real and final logo is a marketing department decision taking into account everything from advertising to merchandising and the proper design fit for the movie/content itself. So the odds of this being the final logo or very slim.
So that is that I guess. The original report is below – Bill “Jett” Ramey
Yesterday, THE BATMAN director Matt Reeves tweeted out a picture of a clapper board signaling the beginning of principal photography on the film (though some filming had already occurred)…

As you can see, “The Batman” can be found printed in red across the top of the clapper board. While we don’t see an official Bat-shaped logo (as of yet), could this be what the print of the film’s title will look like?
I say this because the text/font is not simply some standard print, and it looks pretty much like “The Batman” I’ve seen on various things related to the film’s production recently. If so, Matt Reeves has shown us part of THE BATMAN‘s logo without telling us he’s showing us part of THE BATMAN‘s logo!
What do you all think? Could this be what the title of the film will look like on posters, trailers, merchandise, etc.? Post your thoughts in the comments section below!
