BOF’s BAT-POLL | The Future of the Live-Action Solo Batman Film Franchise

2110

We’re now less than 4 months away from the first solo, live-action Batman film since 2012 (Christopher Nolan’s THE DARK KNIGHT RISES) with director Matt Reeves’ THE BATMAN starring Robert Pattinson.

So my question to you all in this new BOF Bat-Poll is this…

Should the precedent set by THE DARK KNIGHT TRILOGY — the self-contained and finite series of Batman movies — continue with Matt Reeves’ THE BATMAN TRILOGY, if you will; or, should THE BATMAN be the first of a never-ending and infinite run of Bat-Films?

It’s very likely that the answer to that question is the former, but would you prefer it to be more like, say, the 007 film franchise from the Sean Connery era through Pierce Brosnan’s last BOND outing in DIE ANOTHER DAY?  Or are you cool with it being like TDKTrilogy and, speaking of BOND, Daniel Craig’s five-film fifteen-year finite run?
