Michael Kelly, Shohreh Aghdashloo, and Deirdre O’Connell have joined the cast of THE BATMAN spinoff series THE PENGUIN on HBO Max. They join previously cast Colin Farrell, who plays the title character, Cristin Milioti, who plays female lead Sofia Falcone, and Rhenzy Feliz, who is believed to be playing a teen whom The Penguin befriends and makes his driver.

THE PENGUIN begins filming in New York this month (it might’ve already commenced) and the 8-episode series is expected to air at some point in 2024.

The series picks up right after the events of THE BATMAN and will then lead directly into the sequel — THE BATMAN: PART II — which hits theaters on October 3, 2025. – Bill “Jett” Ramey
