During Warner Bros. Picture’s presentation today at CinemaCon 2022, the studio confirmed what we all already knew: THE BATMAN is getting a sequel with both director Matt Reeves and star Robert Pattinson returning.  Per VARIETY

THE BATMAN is getting a sequel, with Robert Pattinson set to return as Gotham’s fiercest defender.

Warner Bros. revealed its plans for another Caped Crusader story during its Tuesday evening presentation at CinemaCon, the annual trade show for theater owners. THE BATMAN director Matt Reeves was on hand to announce the news that he will write the follow-up.

Honestly, I didn’t think they’d announce it today, but I was hoping they would…but it was already a done deal.
