The fine folks at Warner Bros. sent BOF the new trailer for Baz Luhrmann’s ELVIS starring Austin Butler as Elvis Presley. Check it out below…
Additionally, WB sent artwork announcing the artists who will be part of the ELVIS score…including Austin Butler (who does his own singing as the younger version of Elvis), Chris Isaak, Doja Cat, Eminem and Ceelo Green, Gary Clark Jr., Jake White, Kacey Musgraves, Maneskin, Denzel Curry, Stevie Nicks, and others. Of course, original songs and recordings by the great Elvis Presley will be featured as well. The soundtrack is a mix of original Elvis recordings, Austin Butler’s performances as Elvis, and covers by other artists of all genres. And if you know anything about Elvis’ music, it was a mixture, combination, and fusion of MANY different genres and styles. Here’s the full list…
I’m a lifelong Elvis fan and I’ve been waiting for Elvis to finally get the big screen, big budget, serious biopic treatment forever. Like THE BATMAN, I think this is going to be something special.
