JETT’S REVIEW: Overall, a solid first installment of the 2nd season of BATMAN: CAPED CRUSADER. Essentially, this episode serves as a setup for what’s to come.
Not sure what I think of this incarnation of “The Riddler”, but I’ll reserve judgement until the end of this season. Also, a bit disappointed by the lack of growth of Batman in regard to Alfred. Again, it’s the first episode, but The Batman calling Alfred “Pennyworth” again, was a bit of a downer.
What I did like was, well, everything else. How could I have any problem with the inclusion of Prof. Hugo Strange!
Still street-level and detective-driven, which I enjoy.
