Matt Reeves Tweet-Confirms Jeffery Wright’s Casting as Jim Gordon

Long rumored and essentially believed to be true, director Matt Reeves has confirmed via a tweet that Jeffery Wright will portray Batman ally Jim Gordon in THE BATMAN.  Check it!

Wright joins JK Simmons (JUSTICE LEAGUE), the great Gary Oldman (THE DARK KNIGHT TRILOGY), Pat Hingle (The Burton/Schumacher BATMAN Anthology), Neil Hamilton (BATMAN: THE MOVIE), and Lyle Talbot (BATMAN AND ROBIN 1949 serial) as actors who have played Commissioner Gordon in a live-action movie.

THE BATMAN stars Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne/The Batman, Jeffery Wright as Jim Gordon, Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Paul Dano as Edward Nashton/The Riddler and other soon to be announced cast members.
